Collective Futures: In the palm of our hands
“In the palm of our hands” is een bemiddeling naar de mogelijkheden van coëxistentie in het heden en de toekomst, vastgelegd door de bijdragen van Armando D. Cosmos (GB), Þórður Hans (IS), Maria Chiara Ziosi (IT), Lili Huston-Herterich (US/CA) en Liminal Vision (NL/FI). In hun werken dagen ze ons begrip van het huidige uit en nodigen ze ons uit om te onderzoeken hoe de toekomst van samenwerking tussen mensen eruit zou kunnen zien. Als eerste hoofdstuk van Trixie’s jarenlange onderzoek naar de mogelijkheden, uitdagingen en kansen van onze planetaire toekomst, nodigt “in the palm of our hands” ons uit om te kijken naar een introspectie van hoe wij, als mensen, vandaag de dag samenleven en hoe we dat in de toekomst zouden kunnen doen.

Over ZZ- Trixie
Trixie introduces herself as a brand new artist-run space located in the Stationsbuurt, neighboring the red light district of The Hague. Our building consists of an open and dynamic exhibition space with huge windows and shiny mirrors, including fifteen studios, currently hosting seventeen young artists/designers who work towards establishing a firm base for their artistic career. Trixie has an eye for recent graduates and invites diverse groups of artists to experiment with alternative presentation strategies and expand their practice.
